We had the most wonderful dinner here! With our group size we orders a little bit of everything and it was all delicious. Everything about our experience was above and beyond expectations and we are so grateful. We can’t wait to visit the island and eat here again.
Wow! This place is sooooo good! It gets pretty busy so try to reserve ahead of time, if not, it’s worth the wait! The fried eggplant in lime sauce is incredible. The drinks and mocktails are great. All the staff was so nice. Highly recommend.
This is by far the best Thai food in the PNW. The watercress appetizer is delicious and crispy. Table side pad Thai is an absolute must. We also love the Thai margaritas, the perfect amount of spice. Great, dark ambiance in the restaurant. One of our favorite go-to’s on the island!
I’ve been wanting to come here for almost a decade and I’m sorry I haven’t been in sooner! The interiors are gorgeous, the food is wonderful. Most of all the bartender, Widman, was super engaging and kind. I was visiting from out of town and his conversation and stories about his life made my visit to Vashon especially worthwhile. Overall, the staff here has a very nice vibe. From my short visit, you could tell that they treat each other like family and with respect. I can’t wait to return. Thank you so much!
Be prepared to swoon over this restaurant. The food is orgasmic. The atmosphere is dim, intimate, and romantic. There was live guitar music serenading as we dined on gourmet offerings. My wife and I shared the watercress (coated in rice flour and deep fried to crispy perfection) and the twice cooked pork spare ribs (melt in your mouth), along with prawn pineapple fried rice. Their Thai iced tea does not disappoint. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and more than happy to help you select an entre or appetizer. The presentation of the dishes is immaculate. This place really cares about it's food. Definitely get reservations if you have more than 2 people. We sat at the bar and loved it.
Food was excellent. Our group of 4 split 3 appetizers and 3 entrees. The fried watercrest appetizer (yum phak boong) was excellent and a must try. The sauces that went with the vegetable spring roll (papia phat sot) was great. My favorite entree was the green curry. Their special margaritas and martini were also excellent.
Can’t say enough good thinks about this place. The food was fantastic and the ambience was A1. The decor felt authentic. The menu was unique and had a variety of offerings. The mocktail I had was delicious and refreshing. My partner and I will definitely be back
We just moved to the island and had heard such great things about this place. We went at 4pm on a Thursday and were able to get seated as a walk in. Incredible food, beautiful presentation, huge portions. I have celiac and thai food us usually a safe bet for me, but almost everything on the menu was listed as gluten free! (I did feel like I might have had some cross contamination though) The fried eggplant appetizer with crispy basil was soo good! My husband loved his Chicken massaman curry and the shrimp/ veggies dish was fresh and tasty. Definitely will be our go to place for a meal on vashon. Atmosphere a bit dark, music was loud, and there was someone repairing a fridge/cooler in the bar so it was a bit noisy.
One of the best Thai restaurants in the county (and surrounding counties, too). It's consistently incredible - the service is great, and the food is flavorful and wholesome. Their fried watercress is shatteringly crunchy and has this like magical sauce to go along with it. Every curry on the menu is great! You can't go wrong, really. Surprisingly, they also have a great wine list. 10/10
Lots of drapery and Intentionally dim lighting, which set the mood, but may be challenging for those who are visually impaired to look at the menu. Staff is exceptionally nice! Nice comfortable booths that provide a sense of privacy. High bar stools. The bar is divided from the restaurant but seating is available in either area. I really wish I had it taken a picture of the food. It was excellent! Presentation, flavor, aroma, and the portion is generous. The blue pea flower tea is a visually delightful treat. My only regret is that I didn't get a picture and there is no Seattle location. They close at 9:00 pm , so plan accordingly! Apparently on Tuesday nights they have jazz which would have been nice. Definitely worth a second visit,❤️.
